Default reinstalling a header stud

When I was taking my header off the other day all the nuts came off nicely besides one. That one nut came off with the header stud. When reinstalling the header stud what should I put on the threads? Do I use thread lock? Or teflon(sp) tape? Do the header studs on Hondas keep any fluids in the engine?

THanks

I think I remember reading in the manual that you're not supposed to reuse the manifold nuts at all because they expand when you install them to lock onto the stud......that being said, I've never had any problems just reusing them. No you won't lose any fluids, and thread lock couldn't hurt.

I had 2 or 3 come out on my old B16 while installing the header (the motor was still on the pallet from HMO). I just took the nut off, put some anti seize on the stud and stuck it back in, no problem. If it comes out, you'll lose no fluids, you can actually take all of them out and just use bolts like on the ITR

What do you mean by this. I can't believe you notice the city of wapak even. haha. It is so small.

Thanks for the help. I'm just going to put some thread lock on it and put it back in.
