i mounted the transmission on my motor today (H22) but one of the holes on the bell housing is stripped. it's the top right one. when i screw the bolt in, it'll get tight and then loose as a goose and keep going in that order no matter how long you keep turning the bolt clockwise. (so i'm just guessing the hole is stripped, the bolt's threads look ok). my question is; can i use Permatex (Loctite) thread repair on this? has anyone used this stuff before?
