Barona Drag Strip presents Import Fantasy, May 20th. 1/8 mile drag strip is located 4.5 miles North of Barona Casino.
I was told that there was an error on the fliers. Time schedule is below:
7:00 am Gates open
9:00 am Driver's meeting
10:00 am Time trials begin
12:00 Break and will begin to stage for eliminations
1:00 pm Eliminations may begin
4:00 pm Eliminations conclude
8:00 pm Event concludes
*Time trials will be available during the entire event. so even if you are eliminated you will still have the opporunity to race throughout the day. Please keep in mind that these times are tentative and are target times. They may change slightly during the event.

Payout will be as follows:
Bracket I winner: $250
Bracket I runner up: $125

Bracket II winner: $250
Bracket II runner up: $125


Note: Helmets required for all racers.

well, if you guys can travel to arizona, you make the trip to barona. think about it! i think zero4 racing is trying to make it.

we will most likely have 2 bracket classes, an et1 and et2 class. keep in mind it is an 1/8 mile track. the track owners are basically checking to see if an all import race would be successful. we have already distributed over 700 fliers and are concerned about the amount of cars the facility can hold. there is a limit of 150 race cars. if the event is successful we will most likely hold 2 events a year, maybe even more. i believe there is a cash payout and will find out more for ya.

Hell yea a race for san diego peeps...
Barona is a nice facility and only 30mins from most areas in san diego. about time we have a import race in san diego.
i cant wait. count me in as well as other veedubbers.

 

Finally. Such a nice track. Short....but nice. Hopefully there's a good turnout so there can be more events. We'll be there.

It says "Import Fantasy"..The Domestics can come Fantasize about being an import...
