1.6L sohc non v-tech engine swap plzzz help

i just recently blew the engine in my 91 civic lx and i put in a 1.6L sohc non v-tech jdm engine in and everything externally mounts up except i cant get the 1.5L distributor to time up right plz help

1st. vtec not v-tech
2nd. When you say "time up right" what exactly fo you mean. You need to use the dizzy from the motor

since you have LX, it was DPFI - you need to do wiring changes to convert it to MPFI

its a non v tech 1.6 engine and all the 1.5 patrs externally are mounting up right except i cant get the 1.5 distributor to time up right it will crank the car but its spark knocking
