Default Identify turbo trim?

I recently picked up a turbonetics t3/t4 and the person I bought it off could not recall what trim it was. How can I determine this?

Got to measure the small and large parts of the compressor wheel, which means taking the housing off and using precision tools.....prob over the average persons head.

theres equations around on the internet, and taking off the housings is a piece of cake. Then you just need a micrometer.

Would the turbo possibly have a serial number that could identify the trim?
