Default Civic 91 Brake Problem

Hi,
Hope you can help me.

Last week one of my rare brakes started to bind when backing the car. It was similar to suddenly applying emergency brake while backing up, but to a single wheel. The problem was intermittent.

I opened the drum and found the brake cylinder was leaking (oil was spilled on the brake pads) so I replaced with a new one. (only the cylinder, not the pads)

But still the problem persists. I reduced the brake by turning the adjustment screw. The wheel turns freely in the forward direction. But it is so tight in the reverse direction. All the wheel bearings are fine and no abnormal sounds.

Thanks in advance.
