ok so I have a comptech header, test pipe, and thermal exhaust (2.25"). Since my header bracket has completely snapped in 2, I now need a flex pipe. My questions are this: Can I just trim the existing test pipe and weld one of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW
in the middle?

Also - Should I just try and weld the header bracket back into one piece? Comptech won't sell me a new one

Yeah you can do it.. Why did it break in the first place.. Did you not use the spring bolts? just curious
