Yeah right. I hope you are talking about the final race. I drive the black hatch. I had him at the 1/8th mile then I look over and he flies by me like my car broke down. Much props to Tony for building a badass car. That thing is gonna be hard to beat even for all the race cars, much less us little guys with street cars. It was a fun weekend. Sorry if the videos are mostly of my car, but my wife took em and she is kinda partial. I just finished adding the final race for first place.

Yeah, it was close, I got lucky on that race. We were having boost control problems all day, ended up being a loose fitting on the tial gate. The car ran 10psi until half track and then somehow it sealed up and it went to 30psi, that's why it pulled away so hard on the back half compared to the first half of the track. In the final round it only ran 10psi all the way down the track, and went 11.1 @123. The first pass it went 10.89 @ 99mph, lol. Just never got a full pass that day.

Yeah you could definately see the power picking up on top end for sure. I remember when you shut it down on the first pass and coasted to the 10.89, i was just like damn. Now my dad who was out there with me hasnt stopped talking about building my car into something similar haha.

Tony your car sounds awsome, i heard you had some problems with the intake and your head light? tech problems that is.

 

Tech problems with the headlight/airbox is just at NHRA. This car has never had a tech problem. It'll be setup legal for each particular race we run.

 

so NDRA or time only they don't have a problem with the headlight?

 

NHRA Sport FWD is the only class the headlight is not legal for.

 

you can tell by tonys burnout that he means business.. lol
