NDRA News
I wanted to take a minute and just give everyone a quick update on some new things with the NDRA.
Starting at the race in Valdosta, GA. on April 29/30 we will have new trophies for the racers and car show competitors.

The new trophies were designed and built by Scott Miller and Nick Sidwell at BDL Industries for the NDRA and X-Box. Scott and Nick have built us an all billet aluminum trophy that is powder coated black, with a polished base.
The trophies range in size from 6”x 6” up to 12”x 12” for race winners or best of show winners.
Starting at the Valdosta event, teams will be the need to phone ahead or email me for pit parking assignments. This will go for both Pro and Sportsman racers. I will need to know class, trailer size/pit size, and how many cars competing out of your pit area. Trailers left overnight on Friday night that have not been parked by an NDRA official may be moved on Saturday morning.
Starting at the Valdosta event, Pro Tech will be open from 1pm to 6pm on Friday. If you want to have your car tech’d in at that time you will need to let us know when an NDRA staff member parks you.
If anyone has any questions on anything, you can contact me directly via telephone or email.

What kind of lead time do you need for pit parking, never know exactly what we are bringing untill a week or so before. Nothing large jus ta dually and a 26ft traler and a truck and open trailer.
The pit spaces are fairly large, so I can put down for one that is about 35 feet. That should be ok shouldn't?
Shoot me an email on team name and cars and classes.

so does this mean we dont have to get to the track at the *** crack of the morning to get a good spot in the pits?
my car is nowhere remotely close to being almost ready to run..... so we will see if i can have it together in time?

as of right now i need a 6 foot by 2 foot so i can sleep on the ground.....but that sounds about right if i get the car running
i'll let you know how things go.
UPS made me very very happy this morning, so now i wont sleep for a few weeks. and i'll probably be blind with a suntan from my welder. haha

Maybe Joe can bring his car done or not, some shop equipment, parts and NDRA can provide Joe with power to run his equipment. That way you still use up the space given and you could open up a "Joe's pitside repair shop" for the weekend for racers in need? ha ha
How about we pit Joe near someone with a huge generator? This way he will have power and lights. Now he will be able to work around the clock on his car and others.
Hey Joe, these guys might be on to something.
