Default crx hood help

My 89 crx HF has a CR-Vtec on Hasport mounts. I cut almost all the webbing on the hood, and it STILL does not clear. I'd like to keep the stock hood to maintian the sleeper look. But, if need be, I'll get another.

Ideas?

Input?

Maybe try washering up the back a little bit, where the hood connects to the hinges by the windshield. I heard skateboard bushings work well. When I had my B18C and OEM hood, I cut some webbing AND had to washer it.

I vote ZC or SIR hood. The washers also look like a good idea though.
