whats up fellow h-t members.... yesterday was one of the worst days of my life... I probably should have been killed, but luckily I walked away from the accident with very minor injuries. I was t-boned by a drugged-out lady in an explorer. She ran a red light at a major highway and smacked me doing about 50 MPH... she didnt even hit the brakes!!! I was spun around a full 360 degrees and then some... check out the pics...







Yes, those are BRAND NEW rims/tires... I received them on friday (3/31), put them on the integra on saturday(4/1) and the accident was on sunday (4/2) they werent even on for a whole day : ( they're gram lights t-57 RC's in shining silver...17"...absolutely gorgeoussss...for those who were wondering : )

obviously, I was not at fault... the woman's insurance company will probably total my car, and I will also hold her accountable for the rims/tires as well as any and all of my many other aftermarket/performance parts (yeh, I keep receipts : D )

pretty sad, I was only putting those rims on for the weekend, I usually roll on fat fives... the Gram lights werent supposed to go on the car until this summer after my JDM ITR front/ITR lip/ITR wing/OEM optional kit/98+ rear bumper...and a *camber kit/*tein SS suspension package (*not yet purchased)I even have brand new OEM red 'H' emblems and sidemarkers... I was well on my way to having a really nice and unique JDM integra...I've still got all these body parts in my garage, so I think I'll be looking for another integra!! Just wanted to share my loss with you guys, comments/feedback welcome...

woah... thats pretty harsh man. they are human, they make mistakes. granted they should have their licence revoked, but go to jail? i hope i dont ever run into you and your lawyer...

anyways, glad to hear you are ok and you will be compensated... too bad for a clean obd1 gizzer. RIP

 

i kinda agree with teggysue...if your not in the condition to be driving then you shouldnt be...your only putting more people at risk...but glad to hear your okay

Yeah I was kinda harsh but, Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol? This guy was almost killed.

Some bitch in a 86-89 caprice ran a stop sign and t-boned me once. She took the right turn at about 30mph and totaled my old car. She said she suffered from paranoid delusions. They let these crazy bastards drive.

Lets hope you don't have to deal with state farm as her insurance.

Do you have the no fault law there? Where it is 20% of your fault for being there.

yeh...If I hadn't had been going the exact speed I was, she could've really hurt or killed me... she was given a reckless driving ticket for failure to maintain control of her vehicle... the cops also gave her a blood test on the spot... when the results come back, I'm sure I'll find out exactly what she was on... Things could have been much worse, she had 2 children in her backseat... I'll keep you guys posted on how things go... I'm dealing with Allstate (her insurance) anyone dealt with them or something similar?? I'm trying to figure out whats going to happen as far as compensation for my aftermarket stuff...

 

I think your neck hurts too right? go check out a chiropractor or doctor. injuries might now show up right away. but go see a doctor asap!!! get more money!!!!

dont worry about your aftermarket parts...
they will pay for the full price of the parts as they were brand new

aftermarket parts will never loose its value.(in you case)
you dont even need receipt's just show'em how much the parts are worth
that happen to me before.

Wow, coulda been ALOT worse. Glad you walked away from it. Good luck with the insurance claims. At least this didn't happen after your planned body and suspension mods. That would have sent me ballistic!
