Default how hard is it to remove/install engine harness?

Iam going to go with obd1 vtec (either d16z6 or b16) and was looking at getting the engine harness conversion from dpfi obd0 to mpfi obd1vtec. On his website it says he needs my old harness. how much of a pita is it to remove the old and then install the new?

It's not difficult, but it can be tedious. All you are really doing is unplugging connectors and freeing the harness. Getting a list of the connectors and determining their locations before hand will make life easier for sure.

It's one of those projects that is somewhat easy after doing it once or twice.

as he stated above. Its that simple. Unplugging connectors and the tie down clips can be tedious and those little clips can be a pain but its not hard.

and make sure you lay it out and you know what goes where before you install the harness.

taking one out is harder and takes longer than putting one in.

most plugs only go where there suppose to except for two on mine the air temp and some other one i cant remember. so if anything take some pictures so you just remember how everything looks. crxcess is right its a lot harder to get some of those wierd sensors unhooked so it takes a little longer taking them off.
