Default question about seats

ok everyone knows s2000 seats cost like $847508 plus tax from the dealer so buying seats brand isnt the best way to go. I have red seats in my car and my passenger seat is fine but the drivers seat gotta go. I dont want to have it repained or whatever these leather people do. My question is, is it possible to use the skin from a passenger seat on the driver seat frame? Has anyone done this?

The seatbelt holder thingamabob is on the wrong side, for one. If the actual support on your seats are bent out of shape, you should just pick up another set. Red is pretty rare though. Good luck.

Yeah the seat belt holding thingamabob is 1 of the problems. My driver side seat skin looks like my pitbull had a fight with it and the seat won! but on a serious note can it be done? My frame looks pretty ok and the cushion isn't so bad either. Just the leather needs replacement. Finding a set of red s2k seats in good condition is a mission and the price that people ask sometimes is outrageous

The best way for you might be to get it re-upholstered. My seat's also showing signs of aging, so I'm either going to have a local shop redo it, or going AM.
