A light bulb (or any other electrical device) draws whatever current it draws to operate properly. How are you going to "force" a light bulb to operate brighter than was originally intended? Sounds like burned out filaments and/or exploding bulbs just waiting to happen.

Yes, they work. Yes, the light is brighter. Yes, they actually do keep aftermarket bulbs from burning out so fast...

No, they're not really worth the money. s
