Its probably just the supplier, if it came from an Ohio or Canadian made Civic. Just like the Donelley rear view mirrors on Ohio 4-doors that always break.

So here's the rub...
A post about another Civic/CRX being broken into will generate a litany of pissed off comments. Thieves are scum etc etc.

But stealing from someplace like junkyards, apparently, gets posts encouraging/supporting the activity.

So one could say its not stealing, but rather getting something stolen, that bothers so many people.

So then, are thieves really scum? We have 2+ admitted thieves right here...

I'm not malicously calling you anything or singling you out...just making an observation.

...and "it was overpriced" and "I know they were going to throw it away" are rationaliztions. They don't change the definition of theft.

I can imagine that anything that consists of metal being stuffed down your boxers would be cold.

I dont like walking in my shoes with pebbles let alone having a clutch cable running out of it.

Hey, do you seriously want to sell the block off plate? I have been looking for one.

Good finds at the junkyard.

good finds bro

i steal fuses, any screws, nuts, bolts that are hard to find, and the occasional sensor/main relay

back when i was in ohio there was a junkyard where the guys would always hook me up... i got a pair of MINT DA seats with side bolster adjustability for $35, 4 '91 crx si wheels for my auto x slicks for $45(included mounting), and i got rear speaker pods with pioneer speakers for $20 and they threw in the cargo cover for free!!
