Default Well, I've Decided I'm No Longer Going To Purchase A New Car

I've been shopping constantly for the cars I've been wanting (trans am ws6, camaro SS, integra R.) I've decided that I want an R and have made offers on a few. A couple of days ago I came to the realization though that I really do not want an older R. I've owned my gs-r for 3 years now and have seen my share of integras. When deciding to buy the R I just realized that I dont think I will be able to stare at another integra in my garage anymore. I've just become very tired with the look, and if I'm going to be spending around $20k, I would like to spend a bit more and buy something with a fresh look.

This is why I've decided to wait for the RSX-R. I know that there is no hard evidence that it will come here, but most of the reputable automotive writers are speculating that it will show up here around this time next year, give or take a few months. To be quite honest, I think I'm going to put my urge to buy an R aside for a while and exercise some of my patience because I beleive doing so will allow me to purchase the RSX-R when it comes over and I would feel quite a bit better spending my money on it rather than a current R.

I'd like to thank all the people that assisted me during my car search. I'm seriously hoping that my patience pays off. I'm estimating the price of the new R to be around 24,500 or so because base price on a type S is around 23,000. Seeing as though I will need roughly 20k to buy a 2000-01 R, I think it more wise to wait and pay around 3k more and get the new stuff.

Thanks again

50 bux says the RSX-R will be aroudn 28,000 the first few months thanks to dealer mark up. That is if we even get the R. Screw the RSX-R, I'll take and EVO7 thank you very much

My dealer doesnt mark up on cars like that and the MDX. Its MSRP and thats it..nothing added. You can buy it from me!

If you are going to wait, then I would get the Evo 7 or STi...bad *** cars that are quite faster and plenty nimble...plus take to mods a lot better.

And I bet Mitsu dealers will ask 38k for the Evo 7 with mark ups.
I remember last Fall when NIssan dealers were marking up the 240hp Altima by 2-3k.
