Nishant (6:26 PM 4/3/2006): yo, find the pic of that piece you attach to your exhaust that makes the SC or Turbo sound and post it in that thread. i forgot the name of it

ROFL ....

yellows2k, if you like BOV sound just by this instead .. its cheaper

ADM Turbo Simulator

The Turbo Simulator will simulate the “psssst” noise generated from the blow off valve of a turbo-equipped vehicle.

The Turbo Simulator comes complete with all hardware, which includes a manual push button trigger mechanism as well as a vacuum switch trigger mechanism.

After setting a trigger boost level through an adjustable setscrew on the vacuum pressure switch, every time you reach the set boost level, the Turbo Simulator will simulate the “psssst” noise generated from the blow off valve of a turbo vehicle. This is activated by lifting off the throttle.

An additional override button also allows you to trigger the Turbo Simulator anytime.

FEATURES

Push/Pull On/Off switch
Rotational volume control
Override push button to trigger Turbo Simulator anytime
Vacuum pressure switch to trigger Turbo Simulator at a set boost level.
5” x 2 1/5” x 1 ½” ABS plastic brain housing
2 durable 12-volt high output speakers for maximum volume and clarity
EZ six wire installation guide

Priced at S$380 with installation.

ROFL...SC's have a BOV also, but the sound is more suppressed.

don't buy something because of the way it sounds unless its an exhaust tone. when it comes to your motor, you want what is best for your wallet.

i dont know about u but my plan for my s2k is turbo, its alot more aggresive and yah that BOV noise is crazy, i love that, but on the other hand if u daily drive ur s then ur propably gona get sick of that noise each time u let go of ur gas, or like change gears, loool
but ive heared that superchargers are more reliable. and run from the begging and dont have a that turbo lag, so u get the power all through all the rpm range, unlike the turbo it doesnt kick in like lets say at 4 to like 9

neither is 'better'...just one would probably be better suited for you.

probably the turbo though since you're so hung up on the BOV

And issues with belts slipping/losing tension?

I personally prefer the tornado, best mod ever.

Are you serious about the Tornado? I looked at it but thought it was like the Ronco Fisherman.

Turbo=uses free exhaust gases
(snuperfarker)=parasitic
Dont get me wrong, the wicked sound of a supercharged stang is jizztackular. But for an s2000 i would get the turbo rout. 3-9 k pulls= omg jizz
just my 2c
