For Sale or For Trade: 1997 Civic DX Hatch, Alabama
truck was bought and car was SOLD last night for 4450
Car: 1997 civic dx hatchback
Location: Tuscaloosa, AL 35401
Vin: provided in picture
not parting anything out!
update: First $4750 takes it. We buy the house in less than three weeks and its crunch time.
I am looking to sell straight up or trade for a toyota tacoma (4x4 extended cab and 5speed manual a must. I am willing to fork over a little bit of cash for a newer year, btw). I bought this car in November (2004) from a guy up in northern VA. I'm soon buying a house and we'll need a truck to move **** around and do our landscaping projects.
INFO:
-'97 civic dx hatch w/ approx. 105k (the last owner swapped out original cluster with si unit)
-CLEAN title
-original d motor and 5 speed tranny
-bronze rota slip's w/ 7-sided "tuner" lugs
-authentic ek9 sidemarkers, not installed (no bulbs or harnesses included.)
-skunk2 adjustable springs with front camber kit
-2000 si front
-oem foglights
-si cluster
-b&m shift ****
-type-r shift boot
-'94 grey gsr cloth seats
-s2000 steering wheel
-alpine head unit w/ remote (relocated to area above cup holders)
-infinity speakers w/ tweeters
-responder viper 690vx alarm (not currently activated due to lack of remote)
-chrome dc sports lower tie bar
-fuel cut-off switch
-cf duckbill
-mugen "style" front and rear lips (black urethane front installed, but rear is white, therefore not installed)
that's it as far as any mods go.
pros:
-semi-new brake pads (changed October 2005)
-oil changed w/ mobil1 synthetic about 500 miles ago
-great gas mileage
-lots of room with rear seats gone and carpetted floor in place
-stock engine, perfect for your upcoming b or k swap
-smooth tranny
-all maintenance performed before i took ownership of car; around 18 months ago
cons:
-paint is around a 6-7/10. it does have its blemished for being an 9 year old car.
-has driver side power window, but seller neglected to do it right the first time with a proper switch, so to crank it you connect two wires (pictures included)
-door panels could use some TLC
-rear shocks squeaks
Thats all I can think of you'd need to know. Pictures of everything are here as you can see. It drives nicely and gets great gas mileage. It's treated me well for the time I've had it. The tires are in okay condition, but will need a change soon due to rear camber issues. I have rotated them once every couple of months for most even wear.
All-in-all, I'm trying to be an honest seller. I feel that what goes around comes around. My email is corso001@bama.ua.edu or I'll check pms here for any interest in the car. If you prefer phone 205-239-6619 is where to reach me 24 hours a day. It's my cell and my name is Anthony.
First $4750 cash or a trade for a toyota tacoma
OFFERS WILL BE ENTERTAINED. I SIMPLY NEED THIS CAR GONE AND A TRUCK IN MY DRIVEWAY!!!
