Default 4th gen -91 Accord - small amount of oil blowing out of exhaust

I have a 91 accord w/ 145,000 miles on it. A couple of months ago I started to notice small droplets of oil on my rear bumper and taillights. I asked a few people and they thought I fried some piston rings or I have leaking or burnt valves and/or seals. Anybody delt w/ this before??? Please help!

you do not have leaking or burnt vlaves ,, if you did the engine would run like crap ,, missing on 1 or more cylinders.........you could have bad piston rings> worn valve seals, and a bad pcv valve,,
I would replace pcv valve and try it ..if still there, and you plan on repairing it , i would then replace the valve seals,,,,if it does turn out to be rings I would not spend the money on such an older car to overhaul the engine,,,,it will cost more than car is worth ( NO OFFENSE ) ..you might thing about installing a low miles used engine from japan. they got around 40-50 k miles on them,..
try the cheap stuff first and see ...

My 91Accord has almost 200k miles. It smoked really bad.
I pulled the engine out to check the piston rings and cylinder sleeves,
Turned out to be stuck piston rings. Piston ring ends were still within spec but stuck in the grooves due to carbon.
Went ahead and replaced the rings and rod bearings and honed the cylinder sleeves.
Also changed the headgasket as standard procedure.
Now it is running really great with no trace of smoke.

But if I had known it was stuck piston rings, I would have tried the GM top engine cleaner first and soaked it for one or two days.
It might have worked and freed up the rings without the tear down.
Good luck.

Thanks for the advice, I was already considering those options(h22 of course), even though that will cost more than the car is worth as well.
