got in my 99 accord today and my shorts caught on the turn signal, pulled it down, and then slipped off making it do the thing like a doorstopper when you step on it and then off.

so now its stuck with the right turn signal on, the level still clicks and stuff, but it wont reset.

i pulled off the steering column casing trying to get to the signal, found the wiring going into the signal, but dont know how to get to the contact plate or the reset mechanism

any help would be appreciated.

I think you have to pull the steering wheel to get at the cancelation ring, but the ring may be OK. You probably snapped off something at the end of the stalk.
