Default 400hp pumpgas goal...Achieveable?

so i currently have a debate going with a friend of mine as to what the hp limit of a daily driven gsr on pump gas can be. Is 400hp a goal to high to be obtained? Here is a list of my mods, and i beleive i can make this power, but you guys would know better than i. just curious about your thoughts.

Integra gsr

Under The Hood
B18c1
Cp 9:1 pistons
Cp rings
Carillo a beam rods
Race engineering block guard
Arp head studs
Apr main studs
Cometic high boost head gasket
Turbonetics To4E 57 stage 5, .63 a/r wet housing turbo
Spearco intercooler
Turbonetics raptor bov
Turbonetics Evolution wastegate
Exedy stage 2 race clutch
Apex'I N1 Turboback Exhaust
DEI Cryo2 kit (fuel bar, intercooler sprayer, Purge kit)
Upgraded high flow radiator
Wahlboro 255 in tank fuel pump
(4) 550cc primary injectors
(2) 440cc secondary injectors
Hondata s200
MSD coil
MSD dist. cap

thoughts?

You could probably do it with stock ignition, i've never been a fan of msd, and others have been having problems with them.

Oh by the way, I will be running my stock ignition, and expect 350-400hp. I've seen 550hp personally with stock ignition, but he had tons of hours on the dyno.

i have my stock ignition, i just have the external coil and cap. My stock ditributor was goin out and ii was throwin cel's so i just got the external coil. So i planned on running about 18-19 lbs on this setup, that should be sufficiant right?

Stock ignition is good for a lot of power, but expect to keep all the OEM components 99% mint most of the time. If you don't mind replacing caps/rotors/plug wires in tight intervals, stock should suffice.

notice the injectors in the up pipe. controlled by a secondary fuel control box, that is boost sensitive. im not using it right now, but if i need the extra fuel its there.

you dont need secondary injectors for the power you want......the 550cc will be enough.

plus......spraying fuel before the throttle body always gives me a bad feeling.......i dunno.......i think its a bad setup/idea all togeather.

the carillo a beams arent meant for high boost applications mostly economy build for all motor.

who suggested these to you?

unless its their super a's which just came out. there is a very big difference between the 2 can u clarify

sounds achievable to me

I made 410 at 16psi on pump...

setup consisted of
84mm 9:5-10:1 c/r b16 shortblock, stock gsr head
57 trim .63 a/r garrett t3/t04e
rld-fab equal length manifold
hondata s300
1000cc injectors (overkill i know ... but room for improvement)

ok
non-vtec: i actually had the secondary injector setup first before the motor build abd 550's so i just kept the setup, but like i said its not hooked up right now.

and

hybrdthry911: its the larger a beams, not the cheaper econoline version. They are rated almost as high as the crower billets supposedly. I dont plan on running more than 20psi so from the research i did i should be fine. Im just curious to see how many of you are running 400hp on a street car. and how you achieved it on pumpgas.

all in the tuning. i drove my civic all last summer tuned @ 18psi t3/60-1 and made somewhere around 450whp... ran 11.1 @ 132 on pump, in a sedan.

and I would just ditch that secondary injector setup bs. just get bigger primary injectors.

since you are in raliegh, NC? I am guessing... have JDogg tune your car

Interesting thread. For those of you who made 400whp on pump (or around there)... who made it with a log manifold?

I'm trying to decide if i want to go with a log manifold or tubular, I'm afraid the log will hinder power greatly, even though it will be cheaper and has a lifetime guarantee.

a friend of mine made 400+ on pump gas with a gt30r using an inlinepro manifold ( i think it was inlinepro ... it was def. log) on a ~9:1 2.0 GSR ... hondata tuned .. not sure on any other specs.
