I have a 93 civic dx w/ manual steering and every time i turn or go over a bump (even the slightest, crappiest little bump) there is an annoying squeak that comes out. I think its coming from two different places... the sound is a little bit different when turning and when hitting a bump. I replaced my upper ball joint.. that was kind of loose and worn out and i thought maybe that was causing the squeak. Well... the first day or so the squeak was totally gone, but then it came back with a vengeance little by little and is just as bad now as it was before.

have you checked your cv boot maybe?

 

sonds like your strut bushings

 

turned out to be the lower ball joint I put some bearing grease on it inside the boot and now theres no sqeak
