Hi
I have 2 40cm mufflers and planning to weld them together (long flat oval 2 inch in and out) to make one 80mm muffler.
Has anyone done this? because i really dont want a small 40cm muffler showing and i like it nice and quiet so i dont mind 2.

 

Do you mean 40cm long muffler? and you want to weld them inline to make a 80cm long muffler? It will work, may look a bit funny though???

 

i like the big polished muffler look.
the only thing that might look funny is the pipes
does anyoneknow the length of the stock muffler?

 

If you welded then really close together it might look OK. Stock muffler is maybe 20", not sure thought it's been a long time since I've seen one.
