not to sure who won, it looks like the b20, but again cars were going to fast to tell. All i could see is the b20 had white hood and the k24 had black hood? Also if the b20 did win he really spanked the k24, good video.

 

The K20, not the K24 is the black hood.

 

do you know if both cars were dyno'd on the same dyno?

 

Same dyno. We have another project K24(stroked up to 2.5+) dynoed at 300whp...in action soon.

 

although both cars do make great power...regardless of who dynoed where...
i'm sure the driver makes at least a dat bit of difference.

dc5 would have to be completely gutted while the eg have full interior with 200 lbs of stereo equipment

a buddy of mine got the ATS 5.0 final drive but hasn't installed it yet. ur shiftin like a street bike. thats badass. nice setup and run!

The driver and gear ratio makes a big different in racing the car with the 5.0 final drive should rip threw the gears and stay in its max power ban more often than the K20 car would and in term make it get from A to B faster. If the driver has a better feel for his car and had some seat time that also will make a big difference in the whole race itself. My 2 pennies

 

im sure the extra weight of the dc5 chasis has something to do with its loss to the b20 hatch

here's the match between the b20 and the stroked up k24(I've personally seen the 300whp dyno chart myself,please don't ask me to provide it cos I got to access to it).Again, this video is for entertainment only, and not to start a war between K and B. By the way, the K smoked the B in this race.These are street cars so please don't laugh and make fun of them if they seem slow.

Both cars were weighed prior to the race:

EG6: 956kg
EP3: 967kg(carbon doors,trunk,stripped out dashboard etc etc)
