my friend has a 90 crx hf with an 94 d16z6. we were driving to my house one day and from a light he started to acclerate and then his car died and hasnt turned ova since. i know for a fact that its the dizzy so i tell him that and he goes and buys a used one. (not such a great idea) puts the "new" dizzy on the car but nothing.. all its doing is making the coil click but nothing else is happening. it sounds like the car want to start but just wont turn over.. does he need to buy a new dizzy?

 

Check for good grounds, main relay, and fuel.
What makes you think its the dizzy?

 

Sounds like the time my timing belt snapped...

 

the timing belt is fine... his car is getting fuel.. i almost positive that its his dizzy again but idk
