hp range for 24.5x7x13 slicks
I think you should be fine with those if the numbers in your sig are the car theyre going on. I am shooting for 650 plus with my new t3/67 HO (havn't bought yet, but just sold my old turbo yesterday) this year and am going to run those.
It also depends on if you are going to run in a certain class at events. They have size limits. i

yeah... the biggest i could run is 25x8.7 in the events around here i believe. im wondering if i run on low boost 10lbs if the 24.5x7x13 is too big around somewhere in the 350hp range. I'd probably spin these slicks crazy on high boost though.
Everything depends on the track prep, suspension setup, weather conditions. Lots of factors come into play with traction.
Didn't realize you said 7 inches wide. That might be a little problem.

the main concern is will it be overkill? cuz the last time i went to the track @ low boost i launched at around 7k and every single time after i dump the clutch the car just jumps the line and bogs. Since then i haven't been to the track but i assume its my clutch since i've been using the act xtreme 4 puck for close to 3 years and i just recently changed it out and there is major wear on the pressure plate and flywheel.
You shouldn't just dump the clutch. Do a search on launching/preloading. There is a lot more to getting your car to leave the line quicly then just revving and dumping the clutch.
after the first time it bogged i got frustrated and i was thinkin if it was because i wasnt releasing the clutch fast enough then dumpin it i wouldnt bog. but that wasn't the case. I don't normally dump the clutch because i'm still on stock axles

Power = MPH
You choose the size of the slicks based on your MPH and your gearing. Most people like to cross the line in 4th right before their rev limiter.
You'll notice that both the allmotor and FI guys with the most impressive ET's (vs HP) have the perfect size for slicks.
