alright ppls..i went to the acura dealer and looked at the rsx-s again,..im about to get a black one..uMm..i dont want to make the final decision to buy it until i get more opinions on the car..what do you guys/girls think?

 

if you really want it... get it..but you should hold off for a ITR

you might regret it when you pull up next to a ITR and he blows the doors off you while looking better (IMHO)

 

The most important thing is do u like it .. i have a blue type s and love mine.. not matter what u get there will all ways be haters

I own an RSX Type-S, and am nothing but satisfied. Fushion has a ITR, he loves it. Some people are more vocal about there decision then others. Both are great cars, you can't go wrong purchasing this car, I don't car what anyone says. Make the choice and base it on what you want, not on what another person wants.

If you purchase the car, visit clubrsx.com and learn about your purchase, that doesn't happen over here.

the type s is definetaly a nice car...but if u got a little extra $$$ and sum patience...wait for the R, but if u wanna say it like dat....shiet....save a little more....and get the infinitie g35 coupe....and u'll be shitting on most people in here...with style too..

 

so what is this...people telling me to get rsx-s and others are telling me to get type r's...the thing is..as i said before..TYPE R's I CANT GET ANY OF THEM FOR ABOUT 20 or less or maybe more in houston..so rsx-s was my next move..and rsx-r ..cant..i cant wait that long for that to come out..i need my car this month

Well,

Since you "require" a car quick, I will presume it is also your daily driver and in that effect I think that something such as a Subaru WRX may be better suited for you. And stock it is better in performance than the RSX type S aswell.

get a gs-r.. and put a good 10 grand in it... it will own all...

 

If your sold on a RSX. Wait for the Type-R in 2003. You know your gonna kick yourself for not waiting when it comes out..

Hm...i must've been sleeping on my couch the past few days, where is the official documentation that the car is coming out in '03? or '02 that some of you state. Personally get the rsx-s. Its a great car. The type R won't be anything but a souped up rsx-s. Look at the aussie version =P

lets see.......... with 25,000 i'd get a late model 240SX (97-98) and swap that puppy out for the real engine. Total cost: under 15k. tool around w/ the rest of the cash (10,000).

Or i'd get a 2g MR2 Turbo for under 15k(again) adn tool around w/ the rest of the 10k.

but then again, i'm a used car type of guy. :D

 

Is this car still selling at sticker?

 

well..yea..it does still sell at sticker price..but my cuz works at honda..and as u prolly already know(hopefully) honda and acura together..so ill be able to get it for a lot less than sticker price HOPEFULLY! neways..but yea..u can get the car for so much less..them dealership guys just wanan rip the **** outta of us..so do the same..rip the **** outta them!!!!

Definitely w/ you on both of those. If you gotta spend so much money on the newest car, wait on the R. Doesn't seem like you wanna modify that much anyways so get the car closest to what you want. Buy a beater for now. Or you can get an old ls/rs and just run a mild drag kit w/o standalone for a year... then again, you'll probably end up keeping the turbo ls after that and sink money in a standalone and engine work.

 

Prelude SH. ATTS will make you soil your diapers, then you'll forget all about the Type-S/R.

 

Ok as for word on the RSX-R ( integra type R) coming to the Us in 3-4 months thats not true guys, sorry to bust your bubble but its not coming for a while. What im hearing is 2004 maybe, not sure thou might be sooner or not. We will more then likely get it in 2004. Or if u want go to motorex and try and get on imported if you cant wait.

As for which car you should get the thing is what car do you like, enjoy, and wont mind having for a while. You shouldnt get a car that you will hate down the road. Go test drive the rsx-s, gsr, wrx, and any other car you like and chose. Make it your decision not others, but its cool tho that you ask for others opioions, your just doing your research.But no matter what any of us say it all comes down to your taste. I own a pearl white rsx-s with jdm rims and lowered on skunk2 coilovers. I have been meaning to post this pic but I keep forgeting. So here you go, maybe it will help you in your decision. good luck.

well..first off..as for the prelude type sh..2 of my friends just got em..a black one and a silver one..after hearing me telling them for about a year now that i wanted a prelude... !!!! but thats ok..atleast its someone i know.. ...anyways...yea..i mean..i dont want to wait for the type r..and yea..buying a used car..and putting money into it..is what i wanted to do..but thing is i would rather spend the money for a new car and THEN put money into it while i work for it..umM..did that make sense?..lets see..how do i explain it..ok..its like this....people keep telling me to buy a used car. lets say for 12 g's...and then put the rest of the money into it..but thing is..if i get however much money for the new rsx type s out of the bank..then ill be fine..i cant keep going back and getting little by little out of the bank..so in general..i would rather buy a new car thats decent enough to drive and stuff until i get enough money to start hookin it up..right now..type s here i come...but if anyone can give me a really good reason not to..hit me up
