advancing timing?

Default advancing timing?

Wats up....well about a week ago a friend of mine advande my timing by the distributor just a tad bit...it was suppose to give me a couple of extra ponies but i really dont feel anything...any one knows about this...did i do a good or bad thing?BTW I have a d16y7

how much was it advanced. If its advanced too much you can get engine knock.

it wont give you nothing unless u have like a cam in there or something. if its stock leave the timing stock

well its advanced with out any knocking...and as for the cam thing...well i guess ill put it back to stock because i really didnt feel anything
