so i was driving home and all my speakers just turned off but the radio display was still acting like everything was normal so i changed the fuse and now the radio display says code it will let me push the presets to put in a code but i have no idea what the code is but its a stock ex radio (i dont know if the different trims have diff radios. please help. i forgot to mention i slammed my finger in the door and had to go to the er to get stitches so now its personal.

 

call the dealer they may be able to give you the code based on the vin. if not you will have to check your owners manual and or check your spare tire. new vw's have the radio security code on a sticker thats on the spare. maybe hondas do too. its worth a try

 

previous owner may have wrote it in the owner manual?

 

i dont have the owners manual but i have a card from the dealer the last owner bought it from but that was 7 years ago

 

ohh well then i guess that wont work

and i just checked and nope no code on the spare
