Default Problem after the intstall of valvetrain and cams................

i just install crower dual valve springs and titanium retainers along with Skunk2 stage 2 cams on my 2000 integra GSR......at first we advance the cams and tune the idle.....do a break in valve train and cams....took the car for a test...drives good but when it hits 5k...(when the 2nd stage manifold kicks in AKA butterfly throttles) it lags for a few seconds then begins pulling again...when vtec kicks at 5900k it pulls but harder at 6600.....the thing i don't get is why is there i lag when the 2nd stage kicks in...not at vtec......then we tune the cams back to stock setting.....it still does it but not as much lag though...also we check the brand new spark plug we put in and it has white powder on it..meaning its was running lean....i have AEM CAI..DC 4 2 1 header...greddy evo 2 exhaust...but i have no upgrade fuel system...is this my problem.....or is it something else.......

never had experience with the skunk stage 2 but i'm thinking you should get some sort of tuning for fuel management, such as a vafc, hondata, etc

Definetely get rid of the butterflies if you dont get a new manifold.

It seems like it is a tuning issue with it not running right when more air is let into the system.
