Default New Clutch?diy turbo

Im just wonderin how soon i will need a new clutch for my car b/c its gettin turboed and will be running about 7 psi with a t28 turbo on a 97' d16y8 the clutch is stock w/ about 100k on it.............im jw b/c i want to kno if can go the whole summer or not w/ out replacin it thanx

There you go! It's going to start to slip and there's no doubt about that but how long before it starts to slip is really up to the clutch itself! I've got a 4 year old Centerforce Dual Friction in my car and it's slipping like a bitch! Check my sig for my setup! I haven't installed the ACT clutch yet though!

if you got the money do it now. if not be easy on take offs till you got the money to do it because your clutch will go out soon if not right away. depending on how good it is right now.

7psi on a turbo that size shouldn't hurt the clutch too bad.

230k+ on the original clutch for my Z6. I was running 7psi on a similarly sized turbo since last summer and it was holding up fine. Just bumped it to 15psi and now it's starting to slip.

thanx for the input guys, im hopin it wont start to slip for a while but i figure i might as well replace it now if i can but idk yet ill have to see if it slips
