Default Need new clutch: can i just replace the disc?

i need a new clutch for my stock civic, i was wondering if changing the pressure plate is completely necessary if im just keeping it stock. could i just change the clutch disc?

You should be fine just getting a new disk. I would definitely resurface the pressure plate and flywheel before putting it together though.

If your pressure plate has a lot of wear on it, then I'd opt for a new one. But as long as your car is stock, you should be just fine.
