96 accord LX: car is possessed by the ghost of Turn Signals. help!
96 Honda Accord, LX, 5 spd.
I am having problems with my turn signals/brake lights. My cluster indicates a brake light problem, but when I checked... all the bulbs are working fine.
Turn signal:
In the day time...When I press brake, my turn signals come on as my "brake".
In the night time(with the lights on)... When I press my brake, my brake light, my blinker, my 3rd brake light.. all blinks alternatively.
When I try to blink right, the car blinks left.
When I try to blink left, car blinks right.
My car is possessed.
Any suggestions? I tried everything.
thanks H-T

Thanks. I'll try it first thing in the morning with G551.
Has anyone experienced this before? Could it be a relay issue?
I was thinking it might be the little box in the driver side taillight. The "brake light sensor box."
thanks MooGoCow3 and accord-pro
