Default K series or B series?

Just want to hear different opinions on what to do. I had plenty of fun with B series like ls/vtecs, turbo B16, B18. Now I want to do a car that I will truely keep. Should I do K20A Type S or a Built Type R B18C? Through something out there! Thanks

K series are better motors hands down. Way more potential. If you have the money and dont care about spending it do that. if not build a B.

if money aint the problem... K-series are a better base to start with and also has more potential. But B-series has the old Vtec mechanism which hits harder LOL

go with the b series, k series is such a pain in the *** man. a lot of people think its so great but its really not worth it when a b series carrys the same ranks. its just a pain in the *** to work on to swap to customize, and its a pain in the wallet. Im not tryin to scare you away from it but i think people just do it for show and to be the only one in their crew that has it. do your thing tho man. Good luck.

at least it is easier to work on once it is in there... I mean.. seriously, why did everything have to be so hard to reach and tucked away on the other engines....

Kseries, without a doubt. It's an absolute pain in the ***, but the rewards are incredible.

Video speed editing owned it lol... I liked it too, if they could only perform as well..... Now that would be truly remarkable.

From what I saw of the K swap I sat in on. The only difference is drilling in a new mounting bracket, cutting the old one off, and denting in the frame in a few places to fit it in. Plus you have to drop the car over the engine, not vice-versa.....I don't see what is so hard about that?

This was in an EG hatch, btw.

EDIT: I'm sorry, this was an H series I saw.....not a K. My bad :-( An H22A to be exact. What a badass swap that is

If you have the money to burn. Get K. If you don't, get a B. Can't go wrong any other way anyway..
