Leaky trunk!!!

Default Leaky trunk!!!

Chicago weather + My car =

So im curous, what have people done with the same situation, I really dont want to replace my trunk seal for 98$, and ive already tried silicon (dont do it .....)I know I leak from both the taillights and the trunk, because ive watched the water drip from different area of my trunk. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated ! ! !

BUMP!!!!!!!!!!! Its ******* TERRIBLE right now, im just flaming pissed b/c I know theres mad water getting dished into my trunk as we speak, and its probably going to be the worst ive had to deal with. I cant ******* deal with this **** a whole month.

Try replacing the tail light gaskets. It is pretty common for them to cause water to leak into your trunk.

its the rubber seal around the hatch. Or the tail lights gasket.

yea, my **** does that too....i dont have any carpet or anything to worry about but it does suck! i would like to know too.

i know a guy that has accsess to the "big honda computer in the sky for techs" and it has a bulliton where u put 2 new gasgets on instead of one. might try that.

Mine leaks from the hatch struts. I'm going to have to break down and get another rubber hatch seal.

they sell rubber molding at your local home depot or lowes you can get it a lil bit thicker and just put holes throgh it and put it back up with the same mounting hardware
