Default HELP EF W/B16

another problem i got in 91 si with b16
motor is shaking at idle only, motor is running strong, the car is studdering a bit around 800k til 1500k affter that car is running like a champ- i changed the plugs,wires,cap,rotor and still shaking, i checked my mounts they looks good. my next thing to change is the fuel filter, my question to u guys is WTF is goin on wit my car?? can the alternator cause this problem? i have a small sub in my car and i just wired it up and i see the idle droppin when listening to music , yea yea i dunno either but i hope you guys can help me thanx !

the only thing that the amp would do is dim the dash and head lights. Maybe timming is off. Maybe the gap on the plugs are off. Motor mounts could be bad even though you said they looked good. Let me know how you make out.

well last night at work i threw on a clear dizzy cap i got froma friend. so i checked the spark and i have no to weak spark in cylinder #4 , i pulled the plug for the 4th cylinder and no change in idle, pulled 3 and motor changed idle- so far i changed,plugs,wires,cap,rotor i dunno wat to do HELP

Yeap, sounds like a cylinder is not firing. Check, your injector to see if it is firing.

maybe you should check the compression on all four cylinders

I had a similar problem and it was just a fuel injector. You should try that.

Sounds to me that you need to buy a new dizzy. If you put a clear cap on it and could see that you where getting weak spark then that would be the next thing I would check. Some one said that they had the same prob and it was fuel related???? Since when did anything to do w/ fuel delivery have even the slightest bit of anything to do with the amount of spark inside the cap, and I'm not to sure how compression would mess w/ the spark either. For sure dude, try even a junkyard dizzy first, and if that corrects it then buy the new one.

here are my compression results 65 215 220 215 head is gettin ripped apart today and slapin in some type r valves
