91 Si B16 Problem

Default 91 Si B16 Problem

another problem i got in 91 si with b16

motor is shaking at idle only, motor is running strong, the car is studdering a bit around 800k til 1500k affter that car is running like a champ- i changed the plugs,wires,cap,rotor and still shaking, i checked my mounts they looks good. my next thing to change is the fuel filter, my question to u guys is WTF is goin on wit my car?? can the alternator cause this problem? i have a small sub in my car and i just wired it up and i see the idle droppin when listening to music , yea yea i dunno either but i hope you guys can help me thanx !

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak.

check in the intake manifold gasket those seem to go bad on b16 alot

well last night at work i threw on a clear dizzy cap i got froma friend. so i checked the spark and i have no to weak spark in cylinder #4 , i pulled the plug for the 4th cylinder and no change in idle, pulled 3 and motor changed idle- so far i changed,plugs,wires,cap,rotor i dunno wat to do HELP

Do a compression test on that cylinder, I bet you have a bad valve....time for a head job.

well i had two bent valves on the intake side, picked up some type r valves from a local h-t member and gonna install the head 2orrom wish me luck!!
