today i put my buddys jdm h22 ecu into my 1.5l sohc nonvtec del sol. it started up and ran fine actually haulded a little more *** than teh stock ecu. the check engine light comes on when its installed but will it damage anything by runnin a jdm h22 ecu on a sohc non vtec motor?

 

You are definitely running too rich with different fuel maps. It's not recommended that you run the ECU.

i was thining that a buddy said he thought he saw gas shooting out my muffler but when we revved it nothing came out. also my car failed essmions with a 2.7 on the nox with a limit of a 2.5 my cars somewhat blown but new ones ordered should it pass with the new car and just did a full tune up on it?
