Default 91 civic SeDaN integra lip install(kinda) pics

just went to the yard and got me a 89 integra front lip, the 4 door integra hatchback. $1.00 !!!! got some self tapping srcews and went to work.

i centered it and put a screw in the middle from underneath. then put two more on the right and two more on the left, both from underneath. then one in front of each tire

then all you have to do is cut off like 2 inches of extra lip right before the wheels. i just used a small hand hacksaw, worked great.
ps, the wheels should come off in the front and the car should also be jacked up, it will make it easier to install obviously.

before pics

after

not bad i think!!

Do you think it would look better finished if you removed it from the middle instead of the ends?

Its been done before..once again some cutting but it should work with at least a heat gun to mold it a bit

WOW! thanks guys.

1. should work on a crx no problem, the 90-91 si lip fits the 90-91 sedan(i know cuz mine is a 91, dont let the 88-89 corner lights fool you, i couldnt find the amber ones for the 90-91 so i ordered those and made a bracket)

2. and it def would not look better if i cut it from the middle instead of the ends. took me like 15 minutes and i did it without a drill!! battery was dead and i couldnt wait!

Not to ***** your thread, but here's an Integra lip from a '91
....also on a '91 sedan, just for everyone to compare.

I like yours better because it comes up the bumper higher & looks thicker.

Car looks great! Here's a picture of mine before I finished off the ends in the wheel well. On the 88/89 bumpers this lip will stick out several inches. In this picture it's sticking out about 1.5" and I had already cut off about 2" on each side.
