koni yellow inserts?

Default koni yellow inserts?

has anyone installed koni yellows. can you use oil in between shock cartridge and original shock housing to dissipate heat. or is heat not problematic. or is it necessary to drain old shock lube before cutting orig housing. i don't want to drill a hole into the shock housing if it isn't necessary>

you're going to have to drill a hole anyway when you do this. A bolt goes in at the bottom of the stock housing to thread into the insert to keep it still. Not too mention, the oil is under tons of pressure and will spray like hell everywhere. It's best to drain the oil first...be ready for when it sprays out.
