Im just wondering if the Integra Type R IACV is the same as the B16B on because i know the manifolds are both different but very similar. the reason i ask is i think mine is dead due to when i turn the idle screw nothing happens and the idle jumps from 1k rpms to 1.7k rpms and i think its time for a new one... any input will be appreciated i already searched and havent seen this topic covered before.

 

i am pretty sure all b series iacv's are interchangable. i know that a b16a iacv works on a b18c1 dual runner mani.

if the lower iacv is the type r one, what is the top one? b16? I will be looking for an iacv to put on a type r manifold, and need to know what to look for...

 

the jdm b16 iacv wont fit. I tried swapping my jdm b16 iacv over to my itr intake manifold and the holes don't line up. the top iacv in the pic looks like the b16 iacv i have.

The top IACV looks like the one that came on my B16A3.

 

i think the top one was the older iacv and the bottom is the newer one. the b16 on i had was off a 92 jdm motor.

sorry if it's off topic... I wonder how to the take the iacv out to clean it exactly? it is locate @ the back side of the manifold / throttle body, right?

Does anyone know the P/N on the type R iacv?

 

They are just the same as any 94 and b engines.

 

im sorry to bump this old thread up. but ive searched and some h-t members have said you can use gsr iacv then some say you cant same goes with the b16 they say ob2 96 and older you can use. but iam so unsure.

My iac valve took a dump on me the other day. ive seen it progress then now its so out of whack. ill blow the motor drivin it like this idles at 3000rpms.

any info would happily appreciated
