New Jersey: Looking to buy a cylinder for MIG!! Ebay?
I went to my local welding supply and I asked how much are their cylinders. The largest one that they sell (only about 4' tall) I think they said around $200 or $300. Larger ones are available by lease, but I don't think that would be good for me
Any locals know where I can get a good deal on welding cylinders?
How 'bout ebay? Is this a good deal?

I lease all my cylinders.. dosent cost much per year, and refill is easy (exchange).
I currently have 5 cylinders on lease, had them all for years...
Only problem with buying one on ebay is that.. shipping a cyilnder would be costly

Never buy tanks off ebay, or private ones for that matter. They key guys like Praxair and airgas will only fill their own tanks purchased through them with their name on the collar. For the little guys like most of us, going through a large retailer that is located everywhere is the best idea.
