HELP: i think i blew some fuse for my dome light
ok well i was creating something with paper clips so that i could have two led dome lights powered instead of one...but anyways...i forgot to turn the power off when doin this and i accidently let the negative and positive sides touch each other with the paper clips i was trying to form with...sparks came out and now the dome light doesnt work at all....
...i also noticed that when my door is open, and i put my key in the ignition, i dont hear any alert sounds tellin me that the key is still in the ignition...did i blow my fuse?? i was looking at the fuse chart thingy under the drivers kick panel and i dont kno which fuse to check...how much would it cost to get one replaced at a honda dealership?? thanks
oh its for a 97 civic ex if you need to kno

no need to check all of them.
look at one of the red 7.5 fuses on the lowest point on the fuse box...it will be number 3 spot on the fuse box from the left. and you should have a spare fuse on your fuse box aswell toward the far left.

never mind what i posted that was for the eg civic... you have a 96+
open your hood, pop off your engine bay fuse cover, (next to the battery)
you are going to remove the #43 fuse which is a 7.5 fuse

you should have a little puller under the dash fuse box, or you can just pull it with your hand.. no need to remove any batt. cables..

see that little silver piece in the clear part in the middle that's just "floating" there not connecting to anything? That's cause it used to be connected to the other piece that it's kinda pointing at, but it's popped...that's what a blown fuse looks like...a break anywhere on that link
wow you suck. help did i blow my fuse?
fast way = get a multimeter set it to continuity check and poke the probes in the tops of each fuse. it will beep if there good.
