Default 5th Generation Coolant Capacity

Can anyone please tell me what the coolant capacity is for a fifth generation 2.2VTEC with an automatic transmission is?
A guidebook I have states that it is only 3.7L, but that sounds too small. Can anybody clarify this please?

I am doing a radiator flush and will have to replace the coolant. I need a minimum mix of 50:50 ratio of anti-freeze to water. I would only know what amount of anti-freeze to purchase if I knew the capacity of the cooling system.

The book I have does give me a figure of 3.7L, but previous cars I have owned had required closer to 6.0. I was hoping someone would be able confirm whether the above figure was correct.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Helm manual &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Engine Coolant Refill Capacity: Including reservoir
(0.6 l (0.6 US qt, 0.5 lmp qt)).

M/T: 5.4 l (5.7 US qt, 4.8 lmp qt)
A/T: 5.3 l (5.6 US qt, 4.7 lmp qt)</TD></TR></TABLE>

When I refilled my 95 EX (F22B1 w/ manual tranny) I bought 1 gallon of un-mixed coolant from Honda, bought 1 gallon of distilled water and mixed the two to a 50/50 mixture. So I started out with 2 gallons and I still had plenty left over when I was done filling the system.

So just pick up 1 gallon of un-mixed coolant and mix it or pick up 2 gallons of pre-mixed coolant and you'll be fine.
