You should seriously call every dealership in a 50 mile radius. It's possible a dealership has one already coming in w/o a deposit. Or a canceled deposit. That's how I got mine Jan' 16th cause I called so many dealerships and found 1 that had a buyer w/ deposit who backed out.
Anyway, if your stuck waiting, it's worth the wait. The car freaking rules for the cost

I could still do that. It's worth a shot, better then waitin 3-4 months. The only thing is that i'm stationed in South Dakota and there isn't very many Honda dealers around here at all. I think there's 3 in the whole state. I also highly doubt i'll find one the way i want it, soo i'll probably end up waitin, but i'll keep checkin around.

the dealership i bought mine from sold 5 SIs last month, and last time i was in there for service, they had a black one fresh off the truck (this was last thursday) which im sure, is sold now.
Most of the time, if you have a good dealership, they will get it there faster if you put your downpayment. They say 3-4 months but it's not supposed to take that long.

It shouldn't take that long. When I worked at Honda we had a deal setup and deposit down and they did a dealer trade to get one in... took 2 days! I bought my Alabaster Si Saturday morning since it arrived Friday night with no "owner".
I asked them bout gettin one from another dealer and they said that that wouldn't be possible because they said the only way they'd be able to get one is if they trade and Si for an Si but they don't have any. And the dealership that has the Si isn't gonna trade it for a Ridgeline, ya know? I can understand that cause i wouldn't trade it for a Ridgeline either. Oh and btw the dealership here has only gotten in 3 since they've been out.
