Well i picked this car up last week for a 100 bucks off a fellow h-ter... it had no suspension or interior and it had no hood but ran good.. so i fixed all that and here's a few pic's of how it coming together

front view needs alittle work but nothing alittle paint can't fix



dont ask me why but the person before me ..... painted the taillights ???? how can i get that **** off without messing the lights up??

i added a crx dash and gauges with 92 si seats for now <still gotta make some brackets>

here's the great d15 lol with dual point crap i have all the stuff to swap it to multiport will hopefully have it done sometime this week

this is to make things alittle Fun and catch some people by surprise

also can someone tell me why the wheel is tilted in ??

also thinking i might go mini me with the head off this d16z6 not sure yet

i plan to go flat black then its getting painted white with a 90 -91 bumper and a few little things

 

This is probably stupid but, would sanding down the tail lights with very fin sand paper and then buffing fix that? Or maybe some acetone? Maybe acetone will melt the plastic.

yeah you can wet sand the tails and then buff it really good. I actually had mine sanded and bufffed some time ago and it turned out really good. Try it, its not like you can ruin them more than they already are.

 

oh wow. cant figure out which motor looks worse.
if i were you, i wouldnt worry about the paint, or tailights.. oh and leave the tien badge on.
do the minime, mpfi, and junkyard turbo.....

laquer thinner might get that paint off.

i'm thinking the homemadeturbo kit will work just fine the ihi probe turbo is stock and the wategate is set at 5 psi so thats perfect for the little d15 and yeah im thinking the mini will be the head to go with i bought the car with the blown d16z6 so it does'nt bother me how bad they look lol

 

what are you gonna o with the del sol wheels? i am still going to try to pick up that header sometime this week

like the rex's dash.. was planning to do it 2 my hatch but decided not 2 but looks good anyways

100$ minor rust Also the wheel could be tilted becouse of a bent tierod or something. Believe it or not but breakfluid works very well w/ getting unwanted paint off plastic and glass. Just be carefull becouse it also works on metal.

update went to the junk yard today picked up a 90-91 civic si front bump with lip for 40bucks painted the hood and bumper flat black ..... its a work in progress



think its a way better look then the crappy std bumper

 

Yea those 90-91 bumpers look good..Nice pickup..

And the wheel thing..It looks like there is a bent suspension piece..Thats exactly how my crx came except the wheel was pushed back towards the door..It was a bent radius rod and lower control arm that was causing it.....But maybe yours is like that because of not having and suspension,,then you putting it on..Maybe just needs an alignment..Im not sure though..

 

i think it's a upperball joint cuz i can move the wheel all over .... i dunno i have a ton of extra parts so im sure i can fix it with some of the parts i have laying around

You have the radius rod attached ? Because my wheel would move all over without it ..
