As of 5:30 AM my car was stolen. It was TOWED somehow. Between the hours of 1:30 AM and 5:30 AM. My dad woke me up and the car was just...GONE.

And the funny thing is, the car doesn't even start up because there is some problem with it (Distributor problem).

The car is probably in PEICES right now. Well, I'm OUT OF the import scene now...

I'm pretty pissed off because I put so many hours and money into making the block run.

Please tell all your friends and warn them because Turbo cars are being targeted! And if you decide to stay in the import scene, keep it a SLEEPER.

What the hell is going on here in VA? thats one of the main reasons i left NY, now it's the same thing all over again. I wish you luck in locating it. I sleep on pins and needles everynight.

Sorry to hear the bad news. GSRacerboi had his turbo'd 'Teg stolen by a tow truck last week (in CA though). The police in this area need to stop focusing on minor traffic violations and focus on what's important.

Nevertheless, that's exactly why I won't live in Springfield, or leave me car overnight there. Same with most of PG County, Annandale, and the Rt. 1 corridor... no thanks.

Good luck with the insurance company nonetheless.

 

Someone tried to break into my ride last night!!!I found scrape marks in the window from them trying to bend it back,just like they did when they stole it.

Yeah, there has to be a theft ring in northern virginia, this like the 10th post about stolen cars in NOVA. Just keep that third eye open and warn all your friends. Ive noticed that thieves realize that that the cars with a cleaner style are the ones that may be a good catch.Its a damn shame .

 

sorry to hear that. = (.. join the club err.....I feel your pain.. and i hope you were insured... my car was a sleeper (stock kit, from the outside all you could see was its lowered, exhaust and FMIC.. interior was stock too) .. but sumhow it was still targeted...wtf is up w/ people these days.. our cars are getting stolen left and right.. this sux.. even non turbo cars are getting stolen a lot = (... what r u gettin next?

THey found my car!!! Probably 1/2 mile away form my house. Rims missing, stolen gauges, head unit, turbo timer, s-afc, blackwidow spoiler, and gues what else? My fake me out TYPE R Floor mats?? I will have pics posted up soon

Oh, they also gave me a FREE jack stand...and my car didn't even run but they somehow managed to push or tow it that far

 

good thing the cops found your car..it was a good thing it couldnt start so they couldnt have drove it far way. maybe the way they function is..they tow your car away from your house, then from there they start it up at a location where they think its safe, then they drive it to where ever.

Car theft prevention on the law enforcement side is like trying to determine when tornados will form before they touch down. You almost have to catch them in the act to be on the lucky side. Basically, its a hard job and the leads are minimal in some cases. Car theft in some areas are more intensive than in others. Take where I live for example, (Texas) probably 6 out of every 10 people carry a consealed weapon, such as a gun, and they won't hesitate to use it. Plant that seed in the criminal mind and they will think twice about stealing your car. No one wants a cap in their azz. I feel for you. it sucks having your property taken away from you in the middle of the night. Good luck!
