hi, i was wondering since i wanna go all motor with my gsr, how big of a diffrence would skunk2 stage 2 cams with skunk2 gears and valve train and IM make compaired to ctr cams with skunk2 gears valvetrain and IM?? since i will have the engine tuned after i get everything in it what do you guys think would make more power? thanks in advance

 

What else is going in other than the cams ? If you are just going to stop with cams then I would use the CTR cams. They're easy to tune and don't require much compared to the Stage 2's. Also, with the CTR cams you still can probably go FI without having to change out alot of stuff.

 

Agreed. If you plan on sticking with N/A, I'd go for the Skunk2 cams with their intake manifold. PP the head to help compliment the airflow a little better

 

Skunk2 stage2 should be compared to JUN 3 and Toda B not lowly CTR cams. Even stage1 is much more aggressive than CTR cams. But to answer you question, if you are not going to do any mods that raises your compression a lot then the CTR cams are the right choice.

 

yea i forgot to mention that im going to raise my compression to around 11.5-12.0 somewhere around there. how much whp do you guys see me makeing with both setups? thanks alot
