k series header
my friend has an ep3 and was wondering if all header will be swapable?....so if he gets a header now and if he gets a type-s motor put in will that header work?? thank you
Whoa, just a sec...
The RSX-S and EP3 headers are different.
I used a Type-S header & cat to bolt up a JDM CTR-spec catback onto my EP. The header-cat section on the Type-S and Type-R motors are longer than for our EP3 Si, and their catback sections are correspondingly shorter.

Basically, yeah. The A3 motor, whether in the EP3 Si or the base RSX, uses the same manifold and bracket; their downpipe-cat assembly might be the same as well. The A2 engine is different, with a larger diameter header & cat, along with the longer header-to-cat length that I mentioned.
