i ordered a GSR cluster from him supposobly in great working condition..

I get the cluster, and yes it looks fine, but the the tach in the cluster doesnt work

I have tried to contact him for 5 days now, and he wont respond to me at all..

You can file a complaint but you won't get ****, i got ripped for 800 bucks on a motor and paypal only gave me 175 back, like thats any consolation. Paypal protection my sack!

Yeah well, i know for a fact that the tach that he sold me was broken, because i swapped that tach out for an LS tach and it worked just fine.

I mean good thing i didnt buy anyting like a motor or something from him.

But yeah, after he sent me the package, i havent been able to get ahold of him, he hasnt responded to my emails or anything..

paypal sucks as far as backing you, UNLESS you purchase their buyer protection ****. If you payed using credit card through paypal, just go through them.

why are you being such a little girl...first off i haven't been around this weekend whatsoever...secondly i would like to actually have peoples opinions on here as to what should be done, the cluster worked beautifully for me when i had it, i think it was shipping related and u hadnt bought shipping insurance...i have a pretty solid amount of vouches here, even traded cars with a member as youve seen and he loves it, im by no means here ripping people off for ******* 55bucks, im not a loser. so lets hear it hondatech is he at fault for not getting the shipping insurance????

 

55 bucks should be covered if through a standard courier such as FedEx, UPS, DHL even w/o purchasing insurance. Hope that helps.

You shouldnt throw around the term "scammer" so loosely. You didnt get it insured...quit whining.

exactly. he lives 5+ hours away from me, met halfway numerous times to check eachothers cars out. hes not out to "scam" somebody for 55 bucks man..im sorry hes not like that. call the shipping company if u havent already, confirm that it is in fact covered if its less then 100 bucks and talk to them about it. broken tach lol.

easy, call ups, tell them you are the sender and the reciever said item is damage, after they will give u a claim number for the cluster to be pick up and sent back to you, then they will examine the cluster which they dont do shiet, then they will sent the cluster back to you the sender at free of charge, then after its call paperwork time WHAT U NEED TO DO IS GO TO YOUR PAY PAL AND PRINT OUT THAT YOU SOLD IT TO HIM FOR 55 AND THEN U PUT THAT IN THERE AND ADD WHAT U PAY FOR SHIPPING THEN FAX IT IN wait two weeks or so you will get a check in the mail for like 68 bucks whatever shipping is.. then u can pay him back... remember you are not a scammer.. like i said must have gotten damage doing shipping that is why i said for him to take a pic of the box for damage

Ok here is what i am trying to say.

You tell me (Whomever the guy is who said that i am whining) That i should quit whining, well that is fucked up, i am apparently not whining. Also i didnt use the term scammer lightly. I waited 5 days before i even made this post, from the date that i relized that the tachometer is broken. Integregated know, i send him numerous pm's and aim' and regardless of what he says he got them.

His AIM away messages changed 3 times in those five days, so i know that he got my messages. Also explain why that he wont still return my IM's on AIM when he is not away. Why wont he return my PM's on here.

55 bucks i dont care who you are is a decent amount of money. i am a college student and 55 dollars is significant. I am just saying when i received the tach and pluged it up, it went to 3.1k and stoped and at WOT it went back down to zero. Its broken. i tried it in 3 different cars and it did the same thing in all of them.

Integregated i should have had to ask for shipping insurance, as you and i both know, everything up to 100 dollars is covered automatically.

So what do you have to say, all i am saying is the give me something to cover the cost of be buying an LS cluster and geting the tachometer from that.

Seriously i am not trying to be a bitch. but i paid for something and what i got was broken...

Yeah well apparently you havent been shipping anything out lately. Everything is insured up to 100 automatically, so just get out of the thread if you dont have anything usless to say...

 

INTEGRAGATED needs to stop typing so much and just contact his shipping company about this problem.

 

i was just trying to get the consensus of honda-tech, as to what i should do....and i did, contacting UPS...., this should be a fun slow process much like paypal, i can see it now

but the package that i recieved the tach in was fine, no big holes or anything...

the cluster was broken plain and simple....

it was packaged fine, the box didnt appear to have any damage on it. so how was the the shipping companies fault? because it wasnt, unless the box was completely thrown around smashed and torn all to hell (which it wasnt) then it shouldnt have had a problem.

any shipping company automatically insures any package up to $100
